“Cherubs Kitchen” has been nominated as one of three charities by Hollingbury Asda for the next three months (Apr/May/Jun) to help us raise funds to provide the following for our apprentices…
- Training: funding costs of statutory & regulatory staff training including Food Hygiene Certificates, Health & Safety courses, First Aid (at work) Certificates.
- Equipping: funding of Chef’s Whites (work clothes), Kitchen Shoes, Chef’s Knives etc for Apprentices.
- Assistance: contributing to our fund for homing Apprentices including security deposits for accommodation, domestic furniture and white goods etc.
- Maintenance: contributing to the ongoing procurement and maintenance of essential kitchen/catering equipment to support our professional standards in food service.
Shoppers at Hollingbury Asda will be given a green token to place in the box for the charity of their choice. The Asda Foundation supports Asda’s Community Life programme “Chosen by you…given by us” by providing the funding for the local charities and good causes nominated by Asda customers and colleagues. This year will see a £1 million investment from the Asda Foundation, which will support over 10,000 local charities and good causes within the Asda Mile of your store or depot.
